Design Approach

The cityscape at dusk — viewed from high in central Osaka — anchors the design. Every piece of furniture, drapery, lighting and art was selected with an architect's eye to carry one consistent register: a restrained Asian modernism. Boundaries between the formal lounge, the study, dining and living are intentionally softened. Material continuity — down to celadon-glazed display shelves — is the throughline. The rooftop terrace's openness coexists with the library-like quietude in a single residence.

Client's Voice

We made Italian luxury furniture the backbone of the interior. What surprised us is that it never felt like a parade of expensive brands — each piece sits in exactly the right place against the 660 sqm of space. Selected through an architect's eye, the dusk view, the furniture and the materials all merge into one continuous picture.
